   I have a 2001 Mustang with about 185,000 miles on it. It was running pretty rough, so I tried 3 products. This stuff, Redline, and K-Seal (I thought I might have a tear in the head gasket). I drove the car about 110 miles with the XADO in it and then took it in for an oil change. I put everything in at one time, so, I can’t say for sure which did the most good but I can say this: my engine idles around 900-100 without missing, it accelerates without hesitation, and I can run the A/C without all hell breaking loose. If you have an old ass car and want to give it some life-support, and maybe get a few thousand more miles out of it, try these products. Also…Redline is the best damn injector cleaner out there.

   I have used Xado in 2 different vehicles a BMW 545i with 103,00 miles on it and a manual trans.. engine was like all bmws full of carbon and stained inside. Sluggish, down on cylinder balance. I installed xado and ran it 250 miles driving normal to work. Full throttle pulls some. Changed oil when I had time, the difference inside the engine from before until then was amazing. Looked inside like new engine. Car ran 6 degrees cooler, 4mph better, and alot better power delivery.. just installed another xado kit in a 2013 Audi S6.. I have already driven it 340 miles..LOL.. NO I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS!!! However, I really do not care as I am prepping for a teardown and full forged build anyway.. Xado Works.. MSFY!!

   It worked for my issue, please let me explain. I bought a used car and of course, you miss the little things until it’s yours and sitting in the driveway. So at start-up after sitting all night, the car had a very distinct lifter chatter until the oil pressure came up, probably about 5-8 seconds worth. So I put some Marvel Mystery Oil in there and drove around for a week and changed the oil again. The noise persisted during start-up in the mornings. So I changed the oil again using synthetic oil and STP oil treatment, yup, the sound at start-up persisted. Read some reviews, thought I would give this a try. Put it in, let the car idle for about 15 minutes, then waited for the next morning. Yup, lifter chatter was still there but not as loud maybe? Nah, I just wanted it to work, right? Well, the plan was to drive it to work then change the oil, so off to work I go about 20 minute drive. Change the oil with full synthetic again, drove home and waited until morning. NO NOISE! What?! There hasn’t been any lifter chatter noise now for the whole week, I would say the issue is fixed.

   I used this in my 1999 Ford Mustang. 3.8L. I had a sticking piston ring situation on both rear pistons that allowed oil in the combustion chamber. I added this treatment and drive the car 140 miles. Before the treatment I would loose about a quart of oil every 600 to 1000 miles at random. Now no oil burn and no smoke on start up. The power is back like when it was new. No fouling if the spark plugs anymore. This is a one owner car with regular oil changes with 123K miles on the engine. Hope this helps. I’m at about 500 short trip miles since the treatment. Usually that’s how I’d burn most of the oil.

   I have used this product on a 1973 ChevyCK10 and a 2015 Chevy Cruze. In both vehicles the engines do seem to be cleaner of carbon and sludge. I usually pour the whole bottle in then drive to work and back. Then I do the oil change the next morning after warming it up a bit. On both old and new vehicles, the oil drained out is drastically darker than usual, like black soot dark. and the valve lifters look more polished on the old truck, I haven’t had chance or reason to see inside the engine on the Cruze but from what I can see in the oil fill port it looks clearer inside after flush and the oil stays clearer longer on the dipstick. The ceramics in the Xado product has dramatically improved the compression on my old 73 and it no longer burns much oil at all and cold starts a way calmer. My #1 cylinder plug on the old 73 used to foul with oil every few months and need cleaning but now barely fouls at all. Can’t tell if the ceramics they helped the Cruze because it is not that old, but it did not cause any issues after use and the additive may be preventing and restoring cylinder ware before it’s an issue.
