I have been in the market for some better synthetic oil, and I have had Rotella recommended to me a few times, and have read positive reviews in the past. I just upgraded my pickup to a Duramax and this engine oil fit the build for what I was looking for. So far, I have noticed a few good things. First, I seem to actually be getting higher gas mileage. I mainly drive highway, so my MPG is easy to keep track of. Overall, I have noticed a 3-5 MPG positive increase since I swapped out my old engine oil. Second, my turbo’s sound more quiet than before. Rotella claims to have a good effect on turbo performance and I can see that in real time. All in all, with the few things that I noticed immediately, I would recommend Rotella full synthetic to anyone looking to upgrade or look for an oil that may play a role in their engines longevity and performance.

I had to wait several months for shipping but I got it at the normal per gallon rate rather than the $50 plus the locals are charging. This is all I use in my 6.0 plus Archoil.

I put this in everything now from street bike to lawn mower. Most small equipment specs SAE30. Even with a 15W rating it is still better cold flow and I figure the 40 is better for the summer. I find less metal flake per oil change in things like a portable generator and pressure washer when running this oil. Just make sure you allow for warm up time on a air cooled motor when running heavier oil.

Anytime oil is on sale I buy it! My Dodge Ram Diesel runs great on cold starts in winter with the oil pan heater in use for below 40 degrees. Always allow your instrument lights to shut off before starting in winter.

I’ve run alot of oils recommended beyond the factory RAVE manual. And this formula has proven to be the top performer at this weight. NEW England mixed weather. I change oil for summer and winter. No leaks yeah tell me about it. 128k still going strong.
