   Dinged a star for not including a straw. After all these years, you guys (including most of your competition) STILL haven’t figured our a way to use a piece of Scotch tape to hold a straw for a LUBRICANT (do the math on that real quick).Does it take a 12th level genius amongst you to put a straw clip on the damn cap/ Extended slightly off of the cap, it could be designed for the straw to clip there while resting relatively snugly down the surface of the can. Same shipping dimension and lots LESS of annoying missing straws.As far as the commentary on this product itself, people should know from just a glance of the can, that this is NOT pure Lithium, it is supplemented with Cerflon™, an additive to Teflon™, and based on ceramic lubricant (Fluoro Ceramic) technology.Lithium is a great lubricant for gears, hinges, etc. but some applications are difficult if not practically impossible to reach without some sort of tear-down being required to mechanically apply the lubricant).The liquid additives are penetrating where Lithium essentially is not (unless mechanically applied/packed, and still never to the same degree as a true penetrant).From using this, it appears evident that the Cerflon™ (probably other modifiers too) acts not only as a carrier for the lithium, but adds other benefits at the same time, allowing this lubricant to perform MORE (or at least better) functions that lithium alone (depending on application needs-always).So it will spray somewhat runny. This thing blasts lubricant, especially without the straw (knowing this first hand) so it’s good that it does not appear to have any reactionary to any plastics, clear coat or trim that this unintentionally splattered on. Cleaned up easily enough, and left no stains-unlike Graphite based lubes.This product has an excellent temperature range and the lubricating carriers have the penetrating action that goes right into microcracks and micron level pores in metal surfaces, displacing moisture as the Lithium emerges in a foaming action right behind it.

   -1 star because this smells horrific and makes (some) people sick. You may ask, it’s grease so why would you consider its odor? Because you can’t help it – that’s why — it’s incredibly pervasive and strong!That said, it works very well as a go-to general-use lubricant/grease. So far, I have used it on squeaking hinges, rusty tool parts, a vice screw, some 20-50 lb. leverage points and a few other metal things — and it worked great so far. When it comes out of the bottle, it is extremely thick and very foamy. This means that it is great to blast into a tight space — for as it magically expands, it thoroughly coats all hidden surfaces and pushes into tiny gaps and holes. That’s what I’m talking about. The foam settles down quickly and you can then evaluate its coverage (as long as you dont puke at the stench). The grease (as is said) is quite tacky and sticks quite well to applied surfaces. NICE.As much as I love its effectiveness, I find myself wincing and hesitating to use it because it is the worst smelling, most persistently stinking petroleum chemical I can remember using. It can literally make you dizzy, sick and give immediate headaches. You might as well use a warm dish of petro as aromatherapy. I will not use it indoors or on any indoor item (I did this once and regretted it for a few days). So, I put on gloves, wait for a breeze, and apply this to garage tools and outside objects OUTSIDE and quickly leave sprayed objects far away from living things for 24 hours especially people and pets. Then I return and wipe down the excess slime multiple times. After some time, I then place the items away.

   I needed this product to lubricate my garage door opener that was making terrible noises. As a retired woman I read up on the process on the internet and was able to apply this product to my garage door in the proper places. The garage door opens with much less noise now!

   I love the fact that this product is dispersed as a foam, as opposed to a stay, so you can see exactly what has been coated and where.It’s also versatile enough for be used for other applications, such as squeaky door hinges, which I like.

   I was looking for a light weight grease to lube up the drawer slides on a tool chest I’m refurbishing. In terms of lubrication this stuff is doing the job. BUT beware it comes out of the can very very foamy. Sprays and drips all over the place. Using the supplied straw was not much help. So… 4 stars instead of 5.
