I used some Bar’s Leak Copper Block Sealer on my vehicle because I had a gasket leak… It only worked for 2 days and then it killed my radiator. It’s a long story where I tried everything in and between, Radiator Shops didn’t guarantee a $100+ job working and I was about to dump my car since I spent over $500 on every fix I could see. I added RMI-25 and within days that Bar’s Crap was released about 80%. It’s still cleaning a left over but now I CAN USE MY CAR! Awesome Product, im buying it every time I decide to do a flush.

After my oil/coolant heat exchanger let go and contaminated my cooling system with oil, I flushed the system several times with distilled water, once with Cascade powder and water, and several more times with distilled water. I made a few changes to the cooling system like eliminating the aforementioned oil/coolant heat exchanger and adding a real 25 row oil cooler, swapping the mechanical fan for a two speed electric fan and a few other modifications. Texas is miserably hot in the summer, and I track this particular car at least once a month, I came across this product in my research of “water wetters”. I liked the reviews and for the price thought I couldn’t go wrong. My coolant system holds about 6 liters of coolant/water mix and I like to keep the ratio at 1 part G12 coolant to 5 parts distilled water for best heat transfer. I poured half the bottle into my coolant reservoir when I was about 2/3 done filling system after my final flush. I noticed several hours later that all of the RMI-25 had migrated to the overflow tank and it had not mixed at all with the G12/distilled water solution… very strange. And a waste of money, honestly. Its not doing me or my cooling system any good pooled on top of the coolant mix in my coolant reservoir.

I have a 1996 Ranger which was running above normal, not quite over heating. I used RMI – 25 to reduce the heat because I assumed a blockage was the cause of the problem. Per the instructions I added the product and ran the truck for about 2 weeks before i seen a reduction in heat, not only that the sludge or crap that was in my radiator migrated to the top of the fill area once i removed the pressure cap. I squeezed the upper hose per the instruction to get rid of the sludge and within a few days it did not return to the top of the fill area.. I futher reduced the heating issue by changing my thermostat and clutch fan as a precaution and found the truck to now run well below normal. I tested it by keeping it in a higher gear while climbing hills and found that the truck is in perfect running order. I am going to put this in my 2005 Vibe and will report what happens in a later review. I suggest this product as a solution to keep seals lubricated and reduction of heat.. Thanks RMI – 25!!

My wifes 00 Audi A4 had no heat. I flushed it and got the air out but still warm only. I put RMI-25 in the car on a monday and a week and a half later my wife came in and said I HAVE HEAT. It took a week and a half to open up the heater core. But it did. I just bought more for my BMW 325i which doesn’t have heat.

I have been using RMI-25 since 1994 and it keeps cooling systems and internal engine passages stay like new no corrosion eliminates overheating and head gasket problems , Iโve been a mechanic for 50 years and this the single best product than anyone can use in there car engine to save thousands of dollars in engine repairs !!!!!!

I have a 2005 Buick Lacrosse 3.8 l . I noticed the heat wasn’t very warm at operating temperature. So I searched the problem and found many worse case scenarios but no real solution’s without spending a fortune. I ran into this before with my 2003 Ford Taurus and had it flushed which is still expensive at a repair shop. I looked for a flush that you can leave in which there isn’t any all required immediately flushing the system. But I seen this RMI -25 and figured I would try it and put it in the overflow tank. Three weeks later all of a sudden I have heat for the first time since I bought the car. Now I put it in the overflow instead of the radiator due to the weather at the time. I just bought another bottle and put it in the radiator directly. I did a coolant check before hand and my coolant was in good shape clean and rated at -25 degrees. I took out 8 ounces and put it in the overflow and put the RMI -25 directly in the radiator. It works well and I am very satisfied with this product. I would recommend if your system is really bad to flush it out first. This stuff is nice because you can leave it in without worry. It worked for me and I Didi it the wrong way so it took longer to get into the system but if you do it the right way directly into the radiator per instructions it should work much quicker depending on how bad your system is scaled up.
