   I bought this product just in time for our first (of many!) snow falls and freeze in Erie, PA — just a few days after it arrived, our front door key hole froze over with a thick layer of ice, and my windshield had a nice thick coating of ice by the end of my work day. This de-icer worked almost instantly at melting the ice, and the scraper came in very handy to get off the smaller, stubborn pieces of ice so that I wasn’t fumbling with my larger ice scraper. The spray stream was precise enough to use on my door lock without spraying all over the door. Great product! Highly recommend! (The lock de-icer function was an added bonus, too!)

   I used this on my Dodge Challenger because in the winter time the window would freeze to the top door frame – which means you cannot open the door itself because the door design is such where its just glass on top.So yeah, couldnt open the door because the glass would have broken if i pulled on the door. So before it snowed or rained in the winter, I sprayed the windows with this stuff and never had the problem again! I would do this fairly often to ensure the product didnt wear off. Washing the car would also make the product wear off so I’d have to quickly spray again. No issues

   This is a wonderful defroster for my windows. It was a tough winter and I live on an island off the coast of Maine. So, I have to deal with two cars in order to get to work, one on the island and one on the mainland. This works great to get the windows de-iced. I have tried several others but this works better.

   It works well enough, but do yourself a favor and buy the non-aerosolized version. And that’s not because “aerosols are bad for the environment” etc., but because you’ll get *maybe* 3 uses out of this can, and overall the normal spray bottle version just works a whole lot better.Sure, this one might have a built-in ice scraper, but let me assure you it is not a good ice scraper, and if you live somewhere icy you probably already own a far better one.

   I use this on my car windshields when the weather freezes them over. It works very well. However, the stream when you spray is like a straight shot, I think it would be nicer if the nozzle had a wider spray range.
