The Pentosin DOT 4 LV is a special brake fluid of highest DOT 4 performance levels and has an extremely low viscosity at cold temperatures. As noted in the headline, this is the original fluid so I am confident that this is a good choice. I live in a dry climate so I generally go beyond the recommended two-year replacement interval for brake fluid. However, the 2013 dash light nags me to change it at exactly two years so I guess I will rather than just resetting the light.
