The engine of my 2006 Subaru that I bought in 2013 out of Philadelphia (it had a nice clean body) started using a lot of oil in the past 18-24 months. I don’t know if it had anything to do the the timing belt breaking (thankyou Mr used car dealer, who told me the timing belt had just been replaced, and showed me a bogus repair bill as proof… May he be plagued with scabies for the rest of his life) but I digress. So I’m thinking, maybe I should buy a rebuilt engine and solve it all for $6k – $7k. And then my local mechanic suggested this sort of product. So I gave it a try.I guess its working. Hard to tell. But I hope that dealer burns in ….

works on minor seals that are worn but no seals or leaking seals

I own a notorious car known for their valve seals failing. I also live in California where if you don’t pass smog then you’ve got a 3,000 lbs paperweight. The valve seal fix would cost me $2,000 so I thought everyone says this product will work. I bought it, added about half the bottle to my oil and drove it for 300 miles. I then crossed my fingers and went to a emissions facility to see if I could pass emissions. The tech ran the car and gunned the engine and all he could say was ” What did you do!?”. I was like ” Uh why?” I was really nervous that he had found something wrong and I just failed…again. But no, he was amazed that my car was now working great with no smoke. The reason he was so shocked and wanted to know my fix was it turns out he has the same exact car and he hadn’t been able to fix it to pass emissions (without spending $2 grand). This stuff really works. Buy it, add to oil, drive it for 200-300 miles – problem fixed. Now is this a long term fix? Maybe not but it sure is the cheaper faster fix.

To be honest this product saved my engine and my money because my engine insanely burns oil ( 1 quart for 100 miles ) I did not obey using instruction, I added 2 full bottle and let the engine run for 1 hour, turn it off and next day hit the highway for 100 miles added another half bottle, go back to my home and I did not use it for one week and when I take it to the highway again for about 500 miles magic happened, no more burning or need to add oil, my engine back to life again.

I used the product for a smoking problem I had on a vehicle I have and it seems to have solved the problem so far.

Got this siento it’s review and praise from other Amazon customers. Changed oil on bmw and put this in. Drive it for about 200 miles and noticed a bit less oil leak on driveway floor. My car was leaking from the oil pan gasket. I tried another bottle when the oil was low enough to add more. It did the same again. Decided to give in the the mechanic gods and just had the gasket changed. So that was $700 dollars. Oh well it was worth a try. May work for súper small leaks. Good luck ,,; nice snake oil.

I recommended it to neighbors and among us we used it on a Bimmer 6 series, a Porsche McCan and a Mercedes S320.2 out of 3 worked. No comment on its long term results. If you have an older car, it makes sense to try these seal additive. BARS isnt the most popular or famous of them all though which I found out after the fact of using them.

I have used Barr products successfully through the years. I added it to a high compression 6 cylinder engine during a oil change. It definitely helped to stop most of the engine leaks. I plan on using it again. Directions indicate it can be used more than once. Its worth trying before you bring your car to a repair shop.
