I have had issues of corrosive buildup around my terminal posts for a while. I tried the little coated fiber washers with mild success as well as some other protective sprays which lasts only a week or so. I went on to cut off the existing stamped style terminals from the wires to a heavy duty mil-spec style and attached with a hydraulic crimper and heat shrunk back over. Still was getting some build up. A car audio shop told me about this product and I was not able to find it in stores but found it on here. After cleaning the battery, terminals and wires very thoroughly and applying this product as directed it has been applied for several months without any corrosive buildup. One thing to keep in mind though – this stuff is messier than anything I have ever used anti-seize included and it thins out with extreme heat so keep that in mind while applying. I did have to reapply it after cleaning my engine bay after working around the battery because I got so much on my hands and forearms but if you don’t touch it this stuff will easily last months.

So far, so good, easy to use, has a brush that is attached to the lid, brush it on, and it’s thick and stays where you put it. Hasn’t been used long enough to say how well it works, time will tell.

Had some nasty corrosion on the battery terminals and the hold down bar and brackets. Cleaned it all with baking soda and water first. Then applied this corrosion inhibitor everywhere there was corrosion. Been corrosion free ever since. The stuff is a bit sticky so the only bad thing I can say about this product is that it collects dirt/dust. But it’s a lot better than corrosion.

Wow. Glad we found this product. We just bought six brand new golf cart batteries and new cables. Just to have a fresh start, I sprayed their cleaner on the new batteries and neutralized any residual battery acid that may have been present. (There was). Finally applied the second protector on all terminal connections. I will update after a month. This is a Florida dusty farm road driven golf cart, not golf courses, so this is the test of all tests. Normally, the corrosion is bad. We have tried the permatex product, the pads, etc… Nothing has worked.

Have trunk mounted battery in my 64 Nova Hot Rod. Terminals corroded, so cleaned them using baking soda and then wire brushed ligtly. Reassembed using this corrosion preventative. Checked again after 3 months and looks like is doing the job. Will see as time wears on. So far, so good.
