   My husband made me look for these for the fact he used some like these at his last job and was very pleased with the way they worked. After searching through Amazon listings I found this one. It was exactly what we were looking for. We do a lot of repairs and with my dad on a farm these come in handy. They absorb very fast. There was some oil spilled on my dad floor and was not coming up even with regular paper towels and soap and water. I laid these on it and within 30 mins there was no longer oil or any residue left on the floor. We also came home and there was antifreeze on out driveway. We laid it down and in that area when we picked up the pad was a lot lighter and can almost see the normal color of the driveway again. This are for sure a must in any household that is hard working. Loved the price of these as they are still within a normal person price. This was a regular priced purchase and can’t wait to purchase more in the future.

   My primary use is cleanup while changing oil on boat marine inboard engines. You want to keep the engine area clean just like a garage floor. Anytime, anything to do with oil you want these mats and I’m sure they’d work well with other liquids including gas. They absorb the oil with very little left on your hands. I’ve also used them as a mat in my tool chest drawers. Never thought of it but they would absorb liguid left on tools and prevent grease from getting on a metal service. LIke paper towels on steroids.

   These mats make cleanup a breeze. We used to use them when I worked at a dealership years ago, and I was glad to find them in a more friendly home garage size/quantity. They make cleanup a breeze and can hold tons of fluid.

   I first used these years ago when working on my car and only had a small package. They worked so well, and when I saw this larger roll I did not hesitate to get them. Use it every time I change my oil and I use the sheet at the end to wipe out the oil drain which is so much better than a paper towel.

   As for performance, it works great – thirstily sops up liquids like oils, resins, and water. Just what I wanted and needed. The only drawback is its relatively (IMO) steep price. But as the saying goes, “Buy once, cry once.” It’s good quality, just chintzy me wishing it was cheaper. For shops with a bigger budget, though, it’s no biggie.Another slight drawback is that it get “furry” easily. That is, if you run something rough against the pad it puffs up and sheds fibers. Not a big deal, but it was a little surprising when I first ran into that.
