The bouquet leaves one spellbound .Come on … it’s brake fluid … when the weather breaks I’m doing a brake job on my Jeep. I assume the fluid will be just fine.LOL,Rich

CAN BE ADDED to your original [regular] fluid. I ONLY KNOW THAT THIS EXTREMELY HIGH TEMP[450 degree] CAPABLE FLUID HAS GOT TO BE A LOT BETTER. nOT SWIFT ON COMPARABLE PRICES SINCE I NEVER BUY BUT SEEMS WELL WORTH IT.

What to say, it is what it is.

Cheap brake fluid. Use it if you don’t really care about what’s in there. If you’re changing your fluid, and you have have a nice non-leaky system, buy a premium motorsports-related brake fluid for higher boiling points. You may never need them, but you’d sure be glad if you did.I was just adding some to an already imperfect system, so this did the job nicely.

I paid about 6-bucks for this a number of years ago because I had a very slow leak from my master cylinder in my 90โ Chevy K2500 truck. I didnโt use the truck much so the leak was very minor over time and I finally got around to putting a new cylinder on and that took the rest of what I had in the can. The specs for the vehicle called for DOT-3 and getting it by mail was much better than driving 40-miles to an auto store. The brakes feel good and no mushy pedal so Iโd say the shelf life wasnโt an issue and I did keep it tightly sealed. I see from reading a lot of posts on the auto repair forums that they recommend not keeping fluid very long after the container has been opened but I canโt say Iโve any problems after the number of years this was in my garage.
