I was having trouble getting my old Coleman Powermate 5500 portable generator started, so I picked up a can of this stuff. It works great. The generator is over 15 years old. The generator mechanic I use has told me that this particular model is rugged and reliable and well worth hanging onto. However, generator build up gunk in the carbs after a few years. Finding the parts to rebuild an old, discontinued generator isn’t always easy. A couple of blasts of this stuff into the spark plug hole guarantees an instant start up every time.
