I was open minded when purchasing this product figuring it may work and it might not and be headed for the trash. The plan for this device is for fluid changes in riding mower hydrostatic transaxle, antifreeze coolant container, brake & power steering fluid and alike. I was not ready for its first job so I took a clean bottle of Mobil 1 full synthetic 10w30 (room temp) and extracted it from the container and it worked perfectly. So basic knowledge is warm / hot oil flows easily and this reinforces to me that this device will accomplish the anticipated tasks to come. I tailored the device by removing the inlet air fitting and connecting a small air regulator so as to reduce the operating 20psi per the documents that came with the unit. The air inlet fitting that was attached to it was clearly overkill for the 20 psi operating pressure and the regulator will allow the ability to monitor and adjust as necessary. Also added a S hook along with the provided hook to hang up and support the product during use. As of now I know it works and can recommend this product and will update & adjust the knowns if necessary. At a under $25 price point to the front door is low risk and the turkey baster thing sucks !

I recently bought this for DIY brake flush. It worked perfect for that. Plenty of suction power. In fact, more then I had realized. This pump really sped up the process. In hindsight, it was quite easy to assemble, but it didn’t feel like that when I first opened it up. You basically get a bunch of parts and you have figure out how they all get put together. Since I had never used it before, it was a bit confusing. Fortunately, I was able to find better images online and used that to help get everything assembled. Feel free to comment to this review if you end up getting this and need help. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the lack of instruction. Maybe the maker of this will read this review and decide to add a tiny paper with instructions. Either way, It’s a great pump and worked very well. I would say the size is not so good for larger jobs, but worked perfect for brakes. That’s is what I would recommend. For that, it’s a good value.

The media could not be loaded. ย Could not be easier to use. Simply hook it to your compressor via quick connect, set around 20 psi, then open the valve. The pump works smoothly and can create a considerable vacuum. I used it to flush my power steering on my 2000 suburban. Took the reservoir cap off, put some tape over the reservoir neck, poked a hole with a knife, then fed the like from this pump in and ran it. Easy. You could definitely make something like this yourself but for this unit only being 25 dollars, I’d say it’s definitely worth a buy.

Not great suction, it will not pull fluid through brake lines no matter how high the incoming air pressure is. But it does pull enough suction to help prevent air from flowing back into brake calipers when bleeding them traditionally. And it prevents a mess from the bleeder valve. It is still useful for removing fluid from reservoirs/differentials/transfer cases and that sort of thing. It’s handy to have around. Just not a replacement for a brake bleeder pump.

I got it for sucking out diesel injector holes and it did everything I needed it to. The hose was a little too big so I made a little tube out of an old brake line to fit down in the cylinder. Will definitely be a handy little tool to have

Everything included fits exactly correctly. The choice in materials makes cleanup so much easier than “value” products that won’t come off of the type of plastic used. If you are even slightly careful when using this, there’s no chance you’ll drip oil around. There are loads of places they could make small adjustments that would improve this product – but it’s already priced around HALF of what you typically have to pay for something that’s simply built right, so there’s no complaint from me.

This works great. I have been trying to find a good suction solution for automotive fluids. This connected to the air hose works like a charm and no mess. Highly recommend.

Purchased for use primarily in pulling clutch and brake fluid from the reservoir and then from the bleed fittings. I just finished changing the fluid in my motorcycle and it worked great. Previously, I used a hand pump type of vacuum, but since I have compressed air available this is a much better option as it maintains suction continuously. It makes for a cleaner operation which is always nice with brake fluid. The quality of all the components seemed quite good and Reservoir specifically was tougher than I expected it to be. Those material was silicone as described in The listing which is better for staying on fittings. Plus it has the two attachments, but I didnโt try using those yet. Just make sure you donโt overfill The reservoir or you will end up spraying fluid out of the breather.Overall Iโm pleased as this provided plenty of suction even with only 40 psi from the compressor and seems to be of good quality. I would prefer that the drain on the reservoir be a valve rather than a cap, but itโs still very functional the way it is.
