This is one of the few “miracle in a bottle” products that usually works as advertised. I have used it several time over the years in different vehicles and it has helped avoid expensive repairs / extended the life of vehicles. I might not use it in a newer vehicle that was worth fixing properly. For your older car where a repair may cost more than the vehicle is worth, I would certainly give it a shot. One one older Buick Van I had a heater core leak. Put this in and it was good for another 50k miles and did not block up the core.On an old BMW diesel it fixed a mystery leak which never reappeared. On a GM V6 with a bad head gasket, it worked for a few days only.I have never had an issue with clogging things up although I suspect it shortened the water pump life on the aforementioned Buick. Not certain of that but a definite possibility.

I’ve used a few brands of this type of product over the years, and my experience with K-Seal is the best. The only problem– and I consider it to be a real problem– is that the instructions on the bottle are simple and relatively easy to follow. If you read the instructions on the website, however, they are much more comprehensive and suggest a number of steps (depending on circumstances) that are not hinted at on the bottle. Not ALL repairs are just pour and go. Sometimes, it is suggested that the coolant be drained and/or the system flushed. That is an example of poor directions, because maybe the customer already just poured in the product, wondered why it didn’t work, and then consults the website to find that s/he should have drained and flushed the system first. So read the full directions on the website before buying this or any of its competitors’ products.

I had been filling my reservoir daily before driving. I can’t afford to pour money into the street with continuous purchases of anti-freeze so I switched to distilled water. I can see the leaking when I park, but I can’t discern where it’s leaking from. It wasn’t the water pump, radiator, or hoses. My oil looked fine. On a whim, and after researching, I pulled the trigger on K-Seal. I started my car (93′ Caddy Fleetwood 5.7 350) and emptied the 16oz can into the radiator and topped it off. There was leakage-for about 2 minutes. I literally stood there and watch K-Seal stop the leak. As of this writing, it’s been about 2 weeks, and maybe 100 miles or so, and not a drop has been seen. Radiator and reservoir sill at maximum. Just Buy It.

Knowing the Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo has a few known issues, one of which is cracked heads as well as head gasket issues. At 150k, I had seepage after overnight into at least 1 cylinder, where coolant was leaking into the combustion chamber when I parked overnight. It was minimal but none the less. After draining the system below the themostat, putting a bottle of this stuff in, and topping it off, to say I was impressed is an understatement. I drive about 1500 miles per week. I waited to do the review to see how it was long term. 40k later, this stuff has still kept its promise, still working great and still no coolant disappearing (burning in cumbustion), no overnight leaking causing morning sputter, and the engine is happy. Amazing product.

My Subaru was loosing coolant via the head gasket, went to youtube watched a lot of videos of product demos, all leak fixers have their pros and cons this one stood out as having the least risk to the engine while likely to succeed. So far it has done the job I have logged only about 600 miles but 300 of them were freeway 60 – 70 mph for hours. The coolant level remained unchanged. This product is easy to use but do fallow the instructions carefully.

Added more than a half to the radiator (until it was full) and the rest to the overflow tank. It’s been one month since I applied it and there was no water reduction since. I waiting to the summer in Israel to give it a real challenge (now it is 25 Celsius). Best bet ever. Good luck.

90’s OSB Ford F-150 w/ 351 had thick white exhaust smoke, YET no detection of gases in radiator when tested. Poured entire 16oz bottle in the radiator and within 30 minutes the smoke was gone!Won’t have truck much longer, so no longevity report, but did exactly what I needed!
