Had a leak I couldnt find in my suburban, ai gor this and oy needed to add half a can to pin point my leak (with yellow goggles and a UV light) I couldnt find it with a red dye kit. After repair, system evac and drawing vaccum, I used 1 can plus the other half with dye and a little less than 1 regular Johnson R134a to recharge the suburban 28.5 ounces.Blowing cold again. Just in time for some SoCal heat.I recommend this over red dye kits. Much easier to trace out leaks. Even with a halon sniffer which didnt help me a lot.

Was wanting a dye for my system, as I get a year of a/c cooling on my old jeep, then I need to recharge. Most a/c R134 cans have leak sealer in them. From my research, sealer is not what you want to put in your system. Most say it will decrease the cooling ability of the system, if it doesn’t completely clog it. I will buy a black light and check for the small leak I have, then buy what is needed an repair it……This was packed EXTREMELY well, and service was excellent…..

I recharged my 2011 Prius. The air conditioner was not getting the air cold at all. It took about half a can to recharge and not it is blowing cold air and working well. The difficulty I had was that the pressure gage I had purchased was defective. The needle on the pressure gage never moved from it initial very low reading during the recharge process. I had to take a guess as to when to stop the recharge process. I had purchased the gage from Amazon separately/previously from a different vendor. I’m happy with the final result.

One of the cans would not accept the adapter well. Tried several times to get the adapter on the can and get the pressure pin aligned correctly to get the product to flow out. The pin on the can was misaligned. Tried several times to get the pin to sit where it needed to be (in the center) but didn’t happen. Other two cans worked correctly. Other than that, I have cold A/C for the summer. Hate to give the product 4 stars since the other cans worked well.
