   My Ford Focus recently overheated. I incorrectly attributed it to a radiator leak and added stop leak to my cooling system. I took the vehicle to Pep Boys who recommended replacing the radiator, the heating core and all the hoses.. They claimed that the stop leak completely gummed up the system. I asked them if they could flush the system and for some reason they refused. The car was still under warranty but I was afraid that adding the stop leak may have voided it. Rather than dole out two grand for a new cooling system I decide to try and flush the system myself. I started off with Prestone which required six hours of running the engine with the heater on full blast. The Prestone flush was partially successful but afterwards I notice that the heater was blowing cold air. I resorted to YouTube and saw several posts recommending Thoroughflush. I decided to give it a try. I ran it in my system for 10 minutes at normal operating temperature (with the heater on full). I then flushed the system several times until I was satisfied the product was completely out of the system. After refilling the system the first thing I noticed was the heat was back, indicating that the heater core was no longer clogged. After three weeks engine temperature has returned to normal. I still intend to have the system professionally flushed (needless to say, I won’t be returning to Pep Boys). Thoroughflush did in ten minutes what Prestone couldn’t do in six hours. I’d say that’s a pretty strong testimonial.

   I used this to clean the engine out that I had bought in a car somebody had put in leak stop and I was not aware I didn’t put the engine in another car with a brand new radiator that was perfectly clean then the leak stop went through out my new radiator and heater core and system and gummed up I use this product and it cleaned it all out and it worked very well very happy

   The heat in my 2017 ram 2500 6.7 cummins was not working so I did some research and decided to do a heater core flush so I got a drill pump and a garden hose and some boiling water and flushed it out now my heat is back just in time for the winter.

   Stuff works great. Seriously, if you are looking for something to clean out your heater core, definitely get this. Just don’t buy one of those cheap drill pumps and they die quick. But realistically this stuff works wonders. It says on the bottle it cleans out gas tanks. I don’t know if it’s something you put in your gas, but it definitely cleaned it out.

   I had radiator leak and did the typical novice thing and added stop leak which didn’t fix the leak but clogged my heater core I had no heat and I was looking at $1500 to replace heater core. I prayed for 1st time in my life lol. Please o please let irontite fix my clogged heatercore and it did. Praying didn’t fix it but irontite sure did. So happy. I recommend this product.

   put in my radiator and after 10 minutes my radiator cracked from one side to another at the top!
