HEAVILY dented upon arrival! They need to package this with extra heavy box-just a flimsier than normal box was used. In mid December, a gallon of this spilling would have been just horrible. I use it to cook on a Trangia burner inside a Cobb stove when I am in a hurry (that would be breakfast before kids virtual school when camping). It lights right away and burns robustly and without odor. If you cook a lot over alcohol, this is a fabulous buy and comes in a recyclable metal container, unlike those horrid green propane canisters and plastic yellow HEAT containers (marked recyclable BUT most places take only food containing plastics. Oh, and if you are going to alcohol cooking, the original Trangias are worth it…the copies are very poorly sealed and leak fuel everywhere-Saving a few $ and ruining food and equipment is NOT worth it). Back to this product-if it survives shipping, its GREAT!

Can twist cap could not be worst. You would think that with a volatile chemical inside they would put a little more into the packaging. Even after cutting off the plastic safety ring, the cap doesn’t want to screw on or off easily or straight. I mean you can’t tell if it’s on straight and tight or what. I would buy another brand just because of this. Most of Kleen Strip cans are like this. A $15-$20 a gallon hazardous product in a junk container and $3-$4 a gallon OJ or milk in a great container…I don’t get it. Must you be that freak’n greedy.

I bought this fuel for an open sided table-top fireplace. It does burn clean and has a nice yellow-tip blue flame. However, the combustion rate is extremely rapid, causing a strong puff around the wick, which blasts out little droplets of ignited fuel onto the surrounding area. “VERY DANGEROUS” If you completely fill the reservoir to prevent void space for fumes to ignite, it does help prevent the violent puff when lighting the wick. Please be careful using this fuel indoors.

This is primarily used to refill the containers that are used with the Braun electric shaver I bought. The fluid that come with the razor is nothing more then little plastic containers that help clean the razor when I’m finished. Don’t it like this saves a lot of money. Of course you have to shake out the old fluid with all the little tiny hairs, then you refill the containers with this stuff.

One of the two cans in the box had a severe dent. Nothing leaked, so that’s a good thing.

Upon removing the can from the box it was severely dented on the bottom corner.

I used this as fuel for my alcohol stove cooking noodle soup and hard boiled eggs during my camping trips. The flames produced were clear blue and burned clean and smelled subtle.
