Less expensive, and I get more MPG than when I use other expensive oils. It makes the engine sound more quiet too. So, I’ve stayed faithful to it for 3yrs now. I have tried many other expensive brands like Mobile1 and penzzoil and have settled with this valvoline. I commute 73 miles a day, 4days a week and changesmy oil every 4000 to 4500. Mostly 4000 miles[Nissan Rogue SV. 2017, ].

This version of Valvoline has additives to reduce friction and improve engine life.Full synthetic oils are said to have smaller molecules and tend to leak out of older motors.For older high mileage vehicles, Valvoline makes a conventional high mileage oil (red packaging) that has an award winning engine seal rejuvenation additive that works well.

2021 Toyota Tundra with 22k miles. Was changing oil at the dealer because it was free for two years. Since thatโs now over I decided to do my own oil changes. Went with Valvoline extended performance because it was on sale for $28/5qts and itโs a reputable company. Engine is much smoother and quieter with this oil than whatever Toyota bulk oil was doing. So far Iโm very pleased with how this oil seems to be performing .

All I can say is…. after 10k the car works just as good as it did before… Does it help extend life… sure… does it provide a mericle??? I doubt it but good stuff that just works.
