I bought this to ease my sticking doors in an old house. It only kinda worked, the doors still stick and don’t open/ close that smoothly, as the product suggested. Also it has a strong petroleum smell, probably since it’s a petroleum product, making it unsuitable to use indoors. I don’t enjoy my house now smelling of shop grease. It’s probably better suited for automotive or industrial use, such as in a machine shop. Not worth the hassle to return it for the price but maybe this review will help others.

I wonβt go back to using spray oil on my doors. With sprays there is usually a mess, but this was clean and easy. A month after the install, the doors are still squeak free. This package fixed all the doors in my house with lots to spare.

Really worked after trying various lube sprays.

Ok so our house was full of squeaky doors, I followed the instructions and cleaned the hinges to the best of my ability. I mushed this beeswax texture crayola on them, it was an immediate fix to 2 doors. 3 other doors continued to squeak, although it became significantly less. Over the next few days two of those less squeaky doors stopped altogether. My kitchen pantry continues to faintly squeak, but you gotta understand that originally it was louder than the military jets shooting over our house. I donβt know why it didnβt work 100% on all the doors, I did the exact same application process on them all. It did work out in the end though, please make sure if you have dogs that you do NOT apply this on the bottom hinge while theyβre watching because then they want to lick it out of curiosity. We found making high pitch squeals and running them down whenever they attempt to approach the hinge works well long term as a deterrent.

Changed that horror movie sounding door creak into a scene from a ninja movie.
