2009 Honda Odyssey used to whine aloud when starting up. Checked the power steering oil, realized it’s time to get it flushed. Bought 2 bottles of this Triax product, drained and refilled the whole reservoir, feed lines and what else. Now the noise went away, driving for 2 weeks and liquid still clear as pouring out of the bottle, smooth turning as new. So much for the over-priced OEM ones. I will report back if it’s not “working” well with the OEM setup.

I had to replace my power steering pump so I purged and replaced the old fluid with the Triax. Now the operation is buttery smooth and quiet. I think it is better than when the car was new. I also think this is fair assessment since all the old fluid is gone and I am only using the Triax in the power steering system.

This is a very good product overall, but you still have to do your research. I did not. I installed a brand new power steering pump in a 2007 Nissan Altima. I had gotten as much as possible of the original fluid out of the system. Added 100% Triaxx into the system, purged the air just fine and the pump ran very smooth. However, at idle, the steering was difficult. Did some research, turns out that Triaxx is a lower viscosity that what the mfg calls out for, which is basically Dextron III. I vacuumed as much Triaxx out of the system as I could, overfilled the reservoir with Dextron III, with wheels up, cycled fully back and forth 20 times. Vacuumed out the reservoir, and did this procedure 3 times. At the end, power steering now works perfectly, and there is still some Triaxx in the system adding excellent lubrication and additives.

I originally used fluid off the shelf in the auto store that stuff does not work for acura. The power steering pump made a high pitch whine noise. After I replaced with this fluid it made a world of difference its smooth and quite again. Great stuff

The product itself is fine. But this does not ship well. There was at least half a cup of oil in the bag it arrived in. I will buy it from the auto parts store next time.
