ACDelco Silicone Brake Lubricant is a compound containing specially selected premium silicone oils and thickened with high levels of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This brake lubricant combines the temperature, corrosion, and water resistance typical of silicone compounds, with the outstanding lubrication properties of PTFE. These lubrication properties lower brake friction and slip-stick. ACDelco Silicone Brake Lubricant is compatible with most rubber and plastic compounds.
- Formulated with PTFE for longer lubricant life and lower levels of friction
- Lubrication properties reduce noise from brake vibration
- Lubricant is compatible with most rubber and plastic compounds

Great product. Compare to the 3m brand, This has a milky color vs a clear. Still does what its intended. Lubricate brake guides and such. The brush and container feel a lot more durable than the 3m.

This is the best caliper pin lube, but I use high temp purple permatex for the metal to metal contact points. Combine the two and you will have the golden touch on brakes. Like I said use it on the slide pins/ bushings and dust boots.

Bought this for a full caliper rebuild. The caliper pins slide in really well with this. No problems with the brush.

I have used many brands of lubricants on brake caliper sliding pins but this DELCO brand in my opinion is the best available. It is quite expensive and you get a lot of lubricant in the can but worth the extra money in my viewpoint because you don’t have to dismantle your calipers every year to re-grease the pins. When you first see it you will see a huge difference in the material. It’s very slippery allowing for reliable retraction of the caliper pads from the rotor when you let off the brake pedal. While you cannot see them in the lubricant there are tiny microscopic ceramic balls that act as ball bearings between the caliper pins and caliper stator bore. Highly recommended.
