I would have thought that the nozzle on a bottle like this would have been completely thought out by now, but I am wrong. In order to get the spout to rotate up, I have to use a small screwdriver (or equivalent) to pry it out of small channel it sits down in. If you have ever used a bottle of lighter fluid, you know what this nozzle is like. The difference is that a lighter fluid bottle nozzle has some ridges to help you get the nozzle out of its channel, at least to start it and then you can finish easily by prying it up with a fingernail or even a finger tip.

The oil is a good price for a Marvel product at $3.19. I just tried the oil in one of my sluggish air grinders and it seemed to loosen it up a bit.The spout is a very bad design. I cut off the piece of black plastic that covers/protects the tip when its closed. This makes it much easier to lift the spout with just a finger nail. This was an “add-on item”. Amazon makes “add-on items” because they need to ship with other orders, because “cost-prohibitive to ship on their own.” This took 10 days to receive and it was delivered all by itself.

I’m a light user of my air impact wrench, and bought some oil to keep it working as it should. Just a casual home user who does his own maintenance on the car. Honestly I bought an impact wrench because of one bolt that I couldn’t get loose, and I wasn’t going to admit defeat to a drain plug and bring it in to the dealership. And because of this impact wrench, I bought this oil.Two drops in the air inlet before I use the gun; whack the trigger a couple times, give it a few BRAAT BRAAATs and you’re good to go. After you’re done using it, two more in the inlet, couple more BRAATs and back in the cabinet it goes! Impact gun still works the same as the day I got it.Only “issue” (if that) is that I put it on the little ball socket joint (I have a swivel air inlet on the impact) to lubricate the seals. The next time I use the gun, consistently, (this is about a month later maybe?) it’s a bit stiff initially. Once I break the friction it feels new again. But I do question whether or not this oil actually does anything for the o-rings inside the socket of a swivel air inlet.

I can’t really say that this is all that special of a product, it’s just good quality tool oil. I definitely overuse it daily when piling my impact. I’ve had my current bottle of it for seven months and I’ve barely used half of it. It lasts a very long time.

I have always used Marvel Air tool oil and have never been disappointed. It works great. You don’t need much so this size is very nice to keep with the tool.

Use for my pneumatic stapler and pneumatic nailer. Marvel mystery oil is much better than tiny bottle of cheap oil that comes with pneumatic tools.
