Pour in the oil and ran for 15 minutes , drained dirty oil . Oil is still new looking after 2000 miles . Motor seems to be back to operating more efficiently and power is back up. Not smoking anymore either , don’t smell the oil burning smell. Great stuff

2004 Grand Cherokee 4.7, 188,000 mi. I figure – sure – why not. Dumped the existing oil, filled it with cheap oil, Liqui Moly 2037, and a cheap filter. Let her idle for 30mi. Dumped it immediately so anything suspended had no time to settle. I really expected some nasty stuff to come out. While I did not keep a before and after, it was close enough to say it wasn’t worth it. The oil came out clean. Yes, there was some color, but not much at all. Had this been a regular oil change, I would have said that oil is good for another 3000mi. I let it drip overnight to make sure I got out as much as possible. Filled her back up with my preferred oil and filter. She is the same beater she was before….It should be noted – I bought this beater at 150k, and it appeared to have been immaculately maintained her whole life. The CarFax showed regular dealer oil changes. Since I have owned it, I have used AMSOIL Signature Series every 3-5k mi, depending on how dirty it looks, towing frequency, bad conditions, etc. Now whether you buy into AMSOIL or not, it does have way more detergents than most oils – so perhaps I have scrubbed her insides clean over the last 38k mi. I also run a double sized filter. Purolator calls for a PL14670, but I run a PL30001 – it has the same mating surfaces, but holds a tons more oil – my system capacity went up almost a full quart. So 7qts of high detergent oil flushed through her at least 9x, maybe 11 or 12x…. I may not have needed this stuff to begin withIn short – I am sticking with 3 stars because it didn’t do anything for me, but I am not going to bash the stuff as my mill may just have already been clean…

We ran this through a 2009 Accord with 196K on a V6. The oil had been dark and ready for a change, but what came out at the shop was pitch black–clearly a lot of carbon and buildup was washed out. The engine seems to run a little quieter. This car has always had insane acceleration for a plain-looking sedan, and that hasn’t really changed. It’s not in our plans to do any major repairs as it nears 200K. We’re driving it into the ground after 15 years without a car payment, so dropping $20 to maybe extend it’s time seems like a good investment. We’ll buy this stuff again.

I had some minor sludge build up in my car, and I used this stuff as well as switching to synthetic oil and the engine idles smoother and gets about 2-3 mpg more. Depending on what you need it for, this is a really good buy.

After watching several videos on the best way to use this product, I added it to the engine oil of a used 2006 Honda Civic we had purchased (127k miles). Ran the motor as directed, then drained the oil. Results were not as dramatic as some videos I’ve seen where literal gobs of carbon deposits come blurping out of the oil drain hole, but the product definitely did something as the old, recently-changed oil was thick and black as coal. Per recommendations of others, I refilled with inexpensive oil and a cheap filter, drove around a bit, and drained the oil again to make sure all the solvents were out of the engine. Finally, refilled with good synthetic oil and a good filter. (Just recently did a 3k oil change and this most recent oil was dirty, but nothing like what came out of the engine after the Liquid Moly).

I flushed my engine twice with this product over the past 3 years to clear our any gunk in the oil system. This weekend doing some serious engine maintenance and pulled my intake manifold off my GM 4.3 and Valve Covers, completely spotless! No trash or gunk build up! I’ve seen these engines completely caked from prior owners not changing their oil on their cycles! Worth it and will continue to use this product!

I suctioned a little oil from the engine dip stick tube prior to using the engine flush, I wanted to see before and after samples of the oil. The oil was from a 2020 Highlander with 47K miles on the vehicle. The oil being replaced has 5,007 miles on it. You can see the before and after results by looking at the photo. I see the after flush treatment oil is only slightly darker. But I credit this to a well maintained low mileage engine with full synthetic oil being used at every change. I am of the opinion that a higher mileage engine, or an engine not so carefully maintained would have given a much more darker post flush appearance. Overall I think this is a good product.

My car has 230,000 miles. I used this product and dirty oil came out. I did not change the filter yet and refilled with the cheapest oil available. Drove 10 miles and drained again. To my surprise the new oil came out dirty after 10 miles. This time I changed the filter and added my synthetic oil. Good experience with no adverse effects.
